The Edlian Piano Trio perform regularly in London and for music societies throughout the country. International tours and festivals have taken them to Moscow, Edinburgh, Brighton and Amsterdam.
They specialise in Russian music and have recently revived the exceptional trio repertoire of Anton Rubinstein, which they intend to record later in 2006.
They have gained an outstanding reputation for their enlightened performances of unusual works as well as the better-known repertoire.
Their two CDs of Russian music are commercially available.
" Three elegant and sparkly ladies ... make up this sophisticated trio...They favour the civilised sound of chamber music, which they perform with great refinement and expertise. Their rendition....was a lesson of finesse and poise, full of virtuosic touches...A perfectly polished performance."
Three Weeks Magazine ( Edinburgh Festival, August 2005)
" The playing is certainly most accomplished ... ... ... with a freshness that comes from the evident involvement of all three artists and from the easy way they play together ... ... ... lovely sensitive playing subtly underlining the Russian melancholy ... ."
Gramophone (February 2004)
" Red hot classical music with beautifully and excitingly expressive interpretation ... ... ... if you're a classical music fan, kill for a ticket to see their next performance."
Three Weeks Magazine (Edinburgh Festival, August 2003)
