About Performers

Charlotte Edwards Charlotte Edwards (violin) began her career as a musician after she was awarded a Master's Degree in Violin performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, USA, having previously obtained a doctorate in human biochemical genetics from University College, London.

She has an active and varied career. In addition to free-lance playing in many of the London and regional orchestras, she is currently leader and soloist with the Amersham Festival Orchestra and Academy of St Mary's, Wimbledon.

Teaching has included chamber music coaching at Pro Corda, individual teaching in the Music Department of Surrey University, performance and assessment of students' compositions at Trent Park University and workshops in schools involving composition and dance.

She now runs her own private teaching practice offering, in addition to individual lessons, frequent opportunities for chamber music playing to her young pupils.

Ann Lines Ann Lines (cello) studied for four years at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Leonard Stehn.

Soon after leaving college she went to Parma, Italy to play principal cello with the "Orchestra Toscanini".

Since returning to London in 1989 she has been working as a freelance player enjoying a variety of work, including ballet, opera and orchestral music.

She has played for several West End shows and been part of the string backing for some pop and rock artists, including Coldplay, Feeder and Muse.

Ann has enjoyed learning the piano trio repertoire since joining the Edlian Trio in 2000.

Tatiana Andrianova Tatiana Andrianova (piano) was born in the former Soviet Union and began learning the piano at the age of five with Olga Gerlach who was a favourite pupil of E.F.Gnessina (co-founder of Gnessins' Institute, now renamed the Russian Academy of Music). Tatiana studied the piano there with V.Zvereva and Y.Gutman and chamber music with A.Gotlib.

Later she was awarded a Certificate in Accompanying and Solo playing from the Moscow State Philharmonia, and performed extensively in addition to teaching at a specialist music school in Moscow.

Since moving to England in 1992 she has become more devoted to chamber music. She performs with instrumentalists and singers and is in increasing demand as a chamber musician. Tatiana also teaches the piano and coaches chamber music ensembles at various educational institutions.

Together with Charlotte Edwards she founded the Edlian Piano Trio in 1997 and has enjoyed exploring and performing the piano trio repertoire.
